Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends, is one of the most popular American sitcoms. The series made its debut on September 22, 1994 on the NBC Network. It ran for 10 successful consecutive seasons and came to an end on May 6, 2004.
It’s all set in the area of Manhattan, New York City. Among the main characters of the series are Rachel Green, Monica Geller, Phoebe Buffay, Joey Tribbiani, Chandler Bing and Ross Geller etc. The first season of Friends introduced us with all the main characters. As series went on, more and more layers of their personal lives kept on opening. It showed how they all dealt with their everyday issues while caring for and loving each other. The season ender was watched by 52.5 million viewers. Consequently, it became the fourth most watched series finale. Though several shows had been on air, Friends is exceptionally exceptional. It received positive reviews from viewers and critics throughout its run on the NBC network.
