Created by BBC Worldwide, Dancing with the Stars is famous American reality TV show. Presently, it’s being hosted by Tom Bergeron. It made its debut on June 1, 2005 on ABC Network and is currently running with the ninth season.

Dancing with the Stars has a very unique concept where celebrities and professional ballroom dancers pair up to compete in several challenges.    They first choreograph, then practice and then perform in front of a panel of judges and audience at home. After the performance, the couples are awarded with scores by judges. Viewers the call up and cast the votes for their favorite couple. One couple, with the least score, gets eliminated every week. Two couples reach the season finale and compete to win the title and award of $200,000. It’s all derived from UK BBC TV show Strictly Come Dancing. Dancing with the Stars is the only one reality show, which has its local versions as well. People watch the episodes time and again and the popularity always keeps on attracting more eyes.
