One of the most popular American reality TV series, Big Brother, was premiered on July 5, 2000. The series is being aired on CBS Network since its premiere and is hosted by Julie Chen. 

In every Big Brother season, a group of people joins the house of Big Brother for a predefined time period. All these people are referred to as Houseguests and are kept under observation through hidden cameras. All members of the house are left with no connection to the outside world and must cope with the rules and regulations of the house. The ones, who fail to obey Big Brother rules, get evicted and the person who continues as a member of the show till the end is announced winner. A grand amount of $500,000 is given to the winner every season. The show has been a huge hit ever since its debut. It’s produced by Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan. Till date, eleven seasons have been aired during the run of Big Brother and 130 different people have participated as Houseguests.
